Advisory
A second opinion on the decisions that shape the company.
One-to-one sessions for founders deciding whether to raise, how to build value, and when to sell, grounded in your own numbers instead of a template.
Three decisions we work through
The same habit runs through all three: ask when and why before how. Each connects to one of the courses, and you do not need to have taken it.
- The full cost of raising and of not raising: dilution, your time, and delay, side by side.
- What changes if you raise in six months instead of now.
- How much capital this stage really needs, and what it should buy.
- Control, signal, and optionality: what you are trading, and what you are keeping.
- Which parts of the business are creating value, and which only feel like progress.
- What the next investor or an eventual buyer will pay for, and what they will discount.
- The decisions in front of you that compound: hiring, pricing, equity, runway.
- Whether selling, holding, or waiting fits what you want from the company.
- How to read an offer on more than its headline price.
- What to prepare now so you have options later.
How a session works
-
Bring your numbers
Run the Capital Ledger beforehand if the decision is about raising. The result is a useful starting point, and the Ledger can copy your numbers for the booking notes.
-
Talk it through for 30 minutes
We test the assumptions behind your numbers, look at what the math does not price, and name the questions still open.
-
Decide what comes next
Some founders leave with their answer. Others want deeper work, which can be arranged after the session.
Who this is for
Early-stage founders, from pre-seed onward, who are weighing a major capital, growth, or exit decision.
Session details and rates are shared when you book.
What this is not
Fitzroy & Co. offers business consulting and education. It does not provide investment, legal, or tax advice, broker securities transactions or the sale of companies, or solicit investors for companies. For those, work with a qualified professional.
